PCI Express Video Cards Now Available!

The new PCI Express 16x Video Cards are now somewhat affordable. If you want a top-of-the-line system with the new Intel LGA775 Chip then you need PCI Express 16x video. My base card is a MSI 6600 256MB card with TV/DVI built in. This now goes in my new systems as of March 2005. The older AGP cards are still around and kicking but don't expect them to be for long and there will be no new cards developed for the old AGP 8x standard very soon.

The MSI FX5200 GF4 with 128MB as my base video card for the old AGP 8x standard. This is a great card for the home user or business machine. For gamers I sell a variety of upper end MSI NVidia Geforce cards. Today the GeForce 4 cards are still the latest models but come in many flavors and prices.

NVidia makes a variety of chipsets for a lot of different manufacturers. They range from under a hundred dollars to nearly four-hundred. I usually stock at least one AGP 8x card for gamers in the $200 or under range. I can get any chipset and memory configuration you want within 3 days.
